Steve's Warriors began last year in order to ride in honor of a wonderful man, Steve Langkau. Steve lived with type 1 diabetes for over 50 years. After many years of being chronically ill, Steve passed away last February. While he was still healthy enough, Steve’s favorite hobby was bike riding. Not only did he ride many miles himself, he loved passing down his hobby to family and friends.

The money we raise for the Association funds critical diabetes research, information programs, and advocacy efforts that support the nearly 30 million children and adults in the U.S. with diabetes, and the 86 million with pre-diabetes.
